WE ALL HAVE A VOICE.
“I’m Listening I care” was created by Community Activist Camilla Warren in 2018. Listening to, and understanding our teens and young adults concerns in our communities and the resources they can go to for help or encouragement. They too have a voice! Topics are gun violence, killing among themselves, peer pressure, bullying, child abuse and other issues. We want to hear what’s on our children’s minds, and what we can do as parents, teachers and community leaders to make it better for them. As caring adults, we too want them to listen, be educated and care about themselves and others if they are to be our future leaders.

Young people please give your parents a chance to understand what may be going on. They will listen because they care. You too can choose to listen to your parents for guidance if you care.
We want our children to feel, no matter the situation, that they can come to us as parents, teachers, or any adult and talk to us about what is going on in their lives. Be it, peer pressure, suicide, bullying, gun violence, drugs, ect. We have to hear what is in our children's heads. Like our children have to hear us as adults.

Teens and young adults killed by gun violence. No one will rest in peace until these senseless murders stop. Pictured in this dedication video are of a few souls who lost their lives due to violence in Akron Ohio. It is not meant to disregard anyone else who has lost their lives due to gun violence.

We all have dreams of betterment. What do our children value? We can not leave it up to the educators of our schools to teach our children the history of us. We must also educate our own children on the sacrifices made by our ancestors, and how far we have come. The senseless killings among our young has to cease. #Imlisteningicare
In my opinion I think it should be mandatory for our young people in schools to visit the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC to see the sacrifices made by our ancestors to get us to this point, the hardships endured, and how far we have progressed. And to think some of our young males and females want to continue to kill each other. Parents it is also up to us to educate and not leave it totally up to the schools or its educators. #Imlisteningicare
Gun Violence and Death in our community once again. Young men this is not a game. This is not playing Cowboys and Indians, or playing with toy soldiers. This is your life. You are exterminating each other for senseless reasons. (Drugs, girls, video games, clothing, jealousy ect.) Learn to agree to disagree and move on. And, selling drugs is not a come up, it's a let down. Your life matters. If you want to wake up in the morning, to enjoy your family, friends and be free from a jail cell without someone dictating to you when, where, and how, then have a conscious. The world owes you nothing. If you think doing time and killing each other is cool? No, the deep dark hole where you will be buried you is cooler. I'm Listening I care.
